Flipkart's Big Billion Days is back for its 13th edition. The offer is "up to 10% off with Axis Bank and ICICI Bank cards." What Flipkart doesn't say is that the discount is capped per order, the caps shrink after the first two days, and the most popular Flipkart card of all, the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card, doesn't get the instant discount on a full payment.
So, which card should you use? It depends on what you're buying, when you're buying it, and whether you're paying on EMI.
This article breaks down the official Axis Bank and ICICI Bank offer terms, shows where they differ, and shows the order size where the Flipkart Axis card’s regular 5% cashback beats the 10% discount.

TL;DR
- Big Billion Days 2026 opened to everyone on 9 October. Flipkart Plus, Black and Flipkart credit card members got early access on 8 October. The Axis and ICICI card offer runs until 18 October.
- Axis Bank and ICICI Bank credit cards get 10% off. For most categories, that's capped at ₹1,500 per order (₹1,750 on EMI) on 9–10 October, and ₹1,250 (₹1,500 on EMI) from 11 October.
- High-value orders get more: flat discounts of ₹2,000 to ₹10,000 on 9–10 October, plus one-time bonuses. Per card, base discounts (including these extras) are capped at ₹17,250 and bonuses at ₹13,250 across the whole sale.
- The Flipkart Axis Bank card gets the discount only on EMI. On a full payment, you get its regular 5% cashback, capped at ₹4,000 per statement quarter.
- ICICI Bank credit cards get essentially the same offer. The differences are the excluded card, a member extra on 8 October, and an EMI processing fee.
Big Billion Days 2026: dates and bank partners
Flipkart announced the sale on 6 October 2026. Early access began on 8 October for Plus, Black and Flipkart credit card members, and the sale opened to everyone on 9 October. Flipkart hasn't announced an end date.
The bank partners are Axis Bank and ICICI Bank, with up to 10% instant discount on eligible cards. The offer runs from 12 am on 9 October to 11:59 pm on 18 October 2026, with early access for Plus and Black members and Flipkart cardholders from 8 October, so plan any card-discount purchases before then.
Axis and ICICI Bank 10% offer: caps by date
Axis’s and ICICI’s published terms use the same caps, so the table applies to both cards.
The base offer is 10% off on select products. The minimum order and the cap depend on the category and the date. For most shoppers, "All other categories" (electronics, appliances, home and so on) is the row that matters:
Category | Minimum order | 9–10 Oct cap (full / EMI) | 11–18 Oct cap (full / EMI) |
|---|---|---|---|
All other categories | ₹4,990 | ₹1,500 / ₹1,750 | ₹1,250 / ₹1,500 |
Mobiles, tier 1 | ₹4,990 | ₹1,000 / ₹1,000 | ₹1,000 / ₹1,000 |
Mobiles, tier 2 | ₹4,990 | ₹1,250 / ₹1,500 | ₹1,250 / ₹1,500 |
Mobiles, tier 3 | ₹4,990 | ₹1,500 / ₹1,750 | Not offered |
Lifestyle | ₹1,500 | ₹750 | ₹750 |
Grocery | ₹2,500 | Flat ₹150 (full payment) | Flat ₹150 |
Flipkart Minutes | ₹1,000 | Flat ₹100 (full payment) | Flat ₹100 |
Plus and Black members could use the 9–10 October caps from 8 October. Mobiles come in three tiers, depending on the model. The top tier is offered only on 9–10 October; from 11 October, the best mobile cap is ₹1,250 on full payment (₹1,500 on EMI). The product page shows which tier applies.
Per-card limits: the standard 10% discount is capped at ₹1,750 per card on 9–10 October. The limit resets on 11 October (₹1,500) and again on 16 October (₹1,500).
Big-ticket extras (9–10 October only): select products of ₹44,990 or more get a flat ₹2,000 off (₹2,500 on EMI of 6 months or more). Select products of ₹79,990 or more get a flat ₹10,000 off. These extras are capped at ₹12,500 per card. Across the whole sale, Axis and ICICI cap base discounts at ₹17,250 per card.
Bonus ladder (9–18 October): on top of the base discount, select products get one-time bonuses per card. The tiers start at ₹250 on carts of ₹19,990 (EMI of 9 months or longer only) and ₹500 at ₹24,990, and rise to ₹5,000 at ₹99,990. A ₹1,500 bonus at ₹1,24,990 is listed for full payment and EMI of 18 months or longer, so confirm on the product page. EMI of 9 months or longer adds ₹250 to ₹1,750 more on some tiers. Bonuses are capped at ₹13,250 per card.
💡 Before you buy anything big: the Axis and ICICI caps both change on 11 October. Check Monzy's credit card offers tool to see what's live for each bank today, then confirm on the product page.
Which cards are excluded?
Both offers apply to all of the bank’s credit cards (EMI and non-EMI) except:
- Axis: Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card on full payments (see EMI offer below), and Axis corporate and commercial cards
- ICICI: Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card, and ICICI corporate and commercial cards
For both banks, debit cards, cardless EMI, and any payment through UPI or net banking are excluded. Pay with the card itself.
The discount applies only to select products, and the payment must be made with an Axis or ICICI Bank credit card. It’s calculated on the net cart value of eligible items after other discounts and exchange.
Cards' standard terms also say two offers can't be combined unless the bank decides otherwise. Treat any stacking promise you see elsewhere with caution.
The Flipkart Axis card: EMI discount or 5% cashback?
If you hold the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card, the sale gives you two separate options:
1. Pay on EMI and take the instant discount. Per Axis Bank’s terms, Axis runs an EMI-only offer for this card from 8 to 18 October:
- Mobiles: 10% off on orders of ₹9,990 or more, up to ₹1,000.
- Other categories: 10% off on orders of ₹4,990 or more, up to ₹1,500.
- Per-card cap: ₹1,500 for the base discount.
- One-time bonuses: ₹500 on non-mobile orders of ₹24,990 or more (9-month or longer EMI), and ₹1,000 each on mobile orders of ₹29,990 and ₹49,990.
- Select high-value products: flat discounts of ₹1,250 to ₹2,750 on orders of ₹44,990 or more, and ₹10,000 on orders of ₹79,990 or more, on 9-month or longer EMI.
2. Pay in full and take the regular cashback. Axis's card page lists 5% cashback on Flipkart and Cleartrip, capped at ₹4,000 per statement quarter for each merchant. Myntra earns 7.5% (also capped at ₹4,000 a quarter), preferred merchants 4%, and other eligible spends 1%. The card costs ₹500 a year from the second year, waived if you spend ₹3.5 lakh a year.
Here's how a full-payment order compares on 11–18 October, using the ₹1,250 cap for "All other categories":
Order value (paid in full, 11–18 Oct) | Any other Axis/ICICI card (10%, capped) | Flipkart Axis card (5% cashback) |
|---|---|---|
₹8,000 | ₹800 | ₹400 |
₹15,000 | ₹1,250 | ₹750 |
₹25,000 | ₹1,250 (+₹500 bonus if the product qualifies) | ₹1,250 |
₹40,000 | ₹1,250 (+ bonuses if the product qualifies) | ₹2,000 |
₹80,000 | ₹1,250 (+ bonuses if the product qualifies) | ₹4,000 (quarterly cap reached) |
The rough rule:
- Under about ₹25,000: Axis and ICICI credit cards' instant 10% wins.
- Above about ₹25,000 up to ₹80,000, paid in full: the Flipkart Axis card's 5% usually wins, unless the product carries a big Axis or ICICI bonus. Add the bonus shown on the product page before you decide. On 9–10 October, the higher ₹1,500 cap moves the breakeven up to about ₹30,000, and select products of ₹44,990 or more carry big flat extras that can beat the 5% cashback for those products. Check the product page.
- Above ₹80,000 in a quarter: the Flipkart Axis cashback stops at ₹4,000 (5% of ₹80,000), and earlier Flipkart spends this quarter count towards it. The Axis/ICICI one-time bonuses still apply, and on 9–10 October the big-ticket extras go up to ₹10,000.
- Paying on EMI: compare the two EMI offers on the product page. Don't assume the 5% cashback also applies to an EMI purchase.

ICICI Bank: same offer, a few differences
ICICI’s published terms (Flipkart’s terms page, checked 9 October 2026) match Axis on dates, caps, big-ticket extras and bonuses. The differences are small:
- Excluded card: the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card instead of the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card.
- 8 October extra: 5% (up to ₹300) for Plus Gold and Black members and 2% (up to ₹150) for Plus Silver members, on 8 October only.
- EMI fee: ICICI’s terms mention a processing fee of 2.99% (up to ₹299) plus taxes on each EMI. Check what applies to you before choosing EMI for a small saving.
ICICI Cardless EMI is a separate offer. If you use ICICI’s cardless EMI, you get 10% off on EMI of 6 months or longer (minimum cart ₹7,490), up to ₹2,000 per refresh period. The total is capped at ₹10,000 in base discounts plus ₹4,000 in bonuses per account. It’s separate from the credit card offer, and card payments don’t qualify.
Check the "Bank Offer" box on the product page before you pay, and read our ICICI credit cards guide if you're unsure which ICICI card you hold.
Extra cashback through Axis Grab Deals
Axis is also running extra cashback through its Grab Deals platform from 9 to 18 October, for Axis credit and debit cards:
- Category cashback: up to 8% extra, for example, 3% on electronics and large appliances, 4% on groceries, and 8% on most fashion. Most mobile phones get little or none.
- Big orders: a flat ₹500 extra on orders above ₹50,000.
- Cap: ₹1,000 per card per month. The ₹500 for big orders is paid on top of that cap.
There are catches. You have to start from the Axis Grab Deals page (items already in your cart don't count), it doesn't apply to EMI orders, gift vouchers, or gold and silver, and the cashback takes 90 to 120 days to arrive. Read the Grab Deals terms before you rely on it.
Other ways to save in the sale
- super.money (Flipkart's UPI app): 10% cashback on your first transaction only, per Flipkart's offer listings reported by Mint. We couldn't confirm the cap, so use it on a mid-sized order, not a ₹99 add-on.
- Exchange and coupons: the Axis and ICICI discount is calculated after exchange and other discounts, so the minimum order applies to what you actually pay.
- No Cost EMI: both offers cover EMI. Check whether the ‘no cost’ price is the same as the full-payment price, and look out for processing fees.

How to make sure the discount applies
- Open the product page and check the "Bank Offer" section for your card, the cap and any bonus.
- Make sure the net cart value (after coupons and exchange) meets the minimum order, ₹4,990 for most categories.
- Buy big-ticket items on 9–10 October if you can. The caps and big-ticket extras are better in that window.
- Pay with your Axis or ICICI credit card directly. Not through UPI if it's a RuPay card.
- Confirm the discount line appears in the order summary before you pay.
So, which card should you use?
For most orders under ₹25,000, use a regular Axis or ICICI Bank credit card and take the instant 10%. For a ₹25,000 to ₹80,000 purchase paid in full, the Flipkart Axis card's 5% cashback usually comes out ahead. Watch the ₹4,000 quarterly cap if you've already used the card heavily this quarter. On EMI, compare offers on the product page.
And if you don't have an Axis or ICICI card, don't apply for one just for the sale. A new card means a hard enquiry, and the instant discount on a typical order is capped at ₹1,250 to ₹1,750.

FAQs about Flipkart Big Billion Days 2026 bank offers
When is Flipkart Big Billion Days 2026?
The sale opened to everyone on 9 October 2026, with early access from 8 October for Flipkart Plus, Black and Flipkart credit card members. Flipkart hasn't announced an end date, but Axis and ICICI offers are valid until 11:59 pm on 18 October 2026.
Which banks give an instant discount in Big Billion Days 2026?
Axis Bank and ICICI Bank, with up to 10% off on eligible cards. Both banks have published full terms with the same caps. ICICI also runs a separate offer for cardless EMI.
Does the Flipkart Axis Bank card get the 10% discount?
Only on EMI. Axis's terms exclude the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card from the full-payment offer, but it gets its own EMI-only discount of up to ₹1,500 per card. On full payments, you earn the card's regular 5% cashback on Flipkart, capped at ₹4,000 per statement quarter.
What is the maximum Axis Bank discount on one order?
For most categories, 10% up to ₹1,500 on full payment (₹1,750 on EMI) on 9–10 October, and up to ₹1,250 (₹1,500 on EMI) from 11 to 18 October. On 9–10 October, select products of ₹44,990 or more also get flat extras of ₹2,000 to ₹10,000, and one-time bonuses of ₹250 to ₹5,000 apply on larger carts. ICICI’s caps are the same.
What is the total Axis discount I can get per card?
Up to ₹17,250 in base discounts (including the big-ticket extras) and up to ₹13,250 in bonus discounts per credit card, across the whole offer period. ICICI’s limits are the same. The per-card limit also resets on 11 and 16 October.
Does the Axis offer work with UPI or debit cards?
No. The offer is for Axis Bank credit cards only (EMI and non-EMI). Debit cards, cardless EMI and any payment through UPI or net banking are excluded. ICICI’s offer has the same rules. Axis debit cards are covered only by the separate Grab Deals cashback.
Can I combine the Axis discount with other offers?
Axis's standard terms say two offers can't be combined unless the bank allows an exception. The discount is calculated after exchange and other discounts, so a product coupon or exchange lowers the amount it's applied to. Check the order summary before you pay.
Where can I compare all live credit card offers during the sale?
Monzy's live credit card offers page collects current bank offers in one place and lets you filter by bank and offer type. It's the quickest way to check whether another card you hold does better on the same product.
