Last month, I found myself stuck with a 4-hour layover at Mumbai airport. What could have been a nightmare of uncomfortable chairs and overpriced food turned into a relaxing part of my trip, thanks to my ICICI Coral Credit Card.

Here's what you should know as an ICICI Coral cardholder: You get 1 complimentary airport lounge access per quarter across India's major airports. No spending requirements, no complicated eligibility criteria, like many other cards. 

Quick update: As of December 2024, this benefit now applies to primary cardholders only. But whether you have the classic Coral, Contactless, RuPay, or any other variant, you can access complimentary airport lounges easily if you have the card in your name.

Yes, your ICICI Coral Credit Card provides complimentary domestic lounge access at participating airports across India. You get 1 quarterly visit that works across all eligible Coral variants, even international lounge access at some airports.

The app shows real-time status for complimentary lounge access at your current airport, so you'll know your card will be accepted (or not) even before you get there. You get 1 complimentary domestic lounge visit per quarter with your ICICI Coral Credit Card. Though there is no unlimited complimentary lounge access, the benefit resets every three months and applies to all Coral variants. Since December 2024, this benefit is exclusively for primary cardholders, only.

Is there any charge for using airport lounges with my ICICI coral card?

While the lounge access itself is complimentary, there's a ₹2 authorization charge per visit for verification purposes. Think of it as a minimal processing fee. 

Do I need to meet spending requirements to access lounges?

No spending requirements whatsoever on ICICI coral credit card for domestic lounge access. This is one of the biggest advantages of the Coral card over premium variants like Sapphiro, which require ₹75,000 quarterly spending. Your lounge access is available immediately upon card activation, regardless of how much you spend.

Can I access international lounges with my ICICI coral credit card?

Your ICICI Coral card may give you complimentary international lounge access as many international lounges listed are accessible on the official website. But but there are some restrictions. Premium international airport lounge access at Bengaluru(080 International), Ahmedabad (Terminal 2), and Goa Airport (Mopa)  is reserved for higher-tier cards like Rubyx and Sapphiro. Standard international lounges remain accessible with your Coral card. 

What do I need to present at the lounge entrance?

You'll need three things: your valid ICICI Coral Credit Card, a boarding pass for same-day or next-day travel, and valid photo identification (Aadhaar, passport, or driver's license). Keep these handy to ensure smooth lounge entry.

How do I check lounge availability before visiting?

Download the Adani One app and verify your Coral card details (one-time ₹2 charge). The app shows real-time lounge capacity and wait times at your current airport. This prevents disappointment during busy travel periods when lounges might be at full capacity.

What if I've already used my quarterly visit?

A: Once you've used your 1 quarterly visit, additional visits will be charged at the lounge's standard guest rates (typically ₹500-1,500 per visit). The counter resets at the beginning of each calendar quarter: January, April, July, and October.

How does ICICI Coral compare to other ICICI credit cards for lounge benefits?

The complimentary access benefit applies only to the primary cardholder. Accompanying guests can enter by paying guest charges ranging from ₹500-1,500 per person, depending on the lounge. For families who travel together frequently, consider upgrading to cards with guest privileges.

Are there any joining fees or hidden charges?

A: ICICI Coral cards typically have a minimal joining fee compared to premium variants, which is INR 500+GST right now. This annual fee is quite affordable considering it provides essential lounge access privileges. There are no hidden charges for complimentary visits beyond the standard ₹2 authorization fee per visit.

Q: Do the benefits include access to railway lounges, too?

A: Currently, ICICI Coral lounge access privileges cover airport lounges only. Railway lounges aren't part of the program. The focus remains on domestic airport lounge access and select international lounges at participating lounges across Indian airports.
