You've found a ₹6,000 Diwali flight home on MakeMyTrip, and checkout shows a dozen bank codes. The one that looks biggest often isn't one you can use. It might need EMI, only work on a Monday, or exclude the exact card in your wallet.
This guide lists the bank codes that are live for MakeMyTrip credit card offers right now. So, before you rush to book those flights or hotels, it’s worth checking which promo code applies to your card and how much you can actually save.
For each code, you'll see the cap, the minimum spend, the validity, the cards that are excluded, and the catch that can wipe out your discount.
🧳 Codes change every few days in festive season. Check today's live credit card offers before you pay on MakeMyTrip.
TL;DR
- ICICI Bank (October 1 – December 31, 2026): FLYMON gives up to 10% off domestic flights (up to ₹1,800, minimum ₹5,000) when you pay in full, but only on Mondays. ICICIEMI gives 12% off (up to ₹2,000, minimum ₹4,000) on any day, but only on interest-bearing credit card EMI.
- The Amazon Pay ICICI card and both MakeMyTrip ICICI cards are excluded from both ICICI offers.
- HSBC (till October 31, 2026): MMTHSBC gives 12% off domestic flights (up to ₹1,800, minimum ₹5,000) on Thursdays and Fridays only, on select HSBC cards. MMTHSBCEMI gives the same 12% every day if you pay by EMI.
- Visa Infinite: VISAINFINITE code for 15% off 5-star hotels until December 31 (up to ₹5,000).
- The catch: discounts are calculated on the fare before the convenience fee (and, for ICICI, before taxes). The convenience fee is charged per passenger, so it can cancel out a small discount on a family booking.

2. "Weekly Offer": every Monday
Category | Full payment code | Full payment offer | EMI code | EMI offer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Domestic flights | FLYMON | Up to 10%, up to ₹1,800, min ₹5,000 | FLYMONEMI | Up to 12%, up to ₹2,000, min ₹4,000 |

Holidays | MMTICICI | Up to 35%, up to ₹30,000, min ₹30,000 | MMTICICIEMI | Up to 35%, up to ₹35,000, min ₹25,000 |
- Days: every Monday, midnight to 11:59 pm. The next ones are October 26, then November 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, and December 7, 14, 21 and 28.
- Limit: 1 booking per card per calendar month per code. Mondays alone give you three chances at the flight discount between October and December.
- Not valid on: Book Now Pay Later for domestic flights, ICICI business, commercial and corporate cards, debit cards, net banking, MakeMyTrip wallet bonus, third-party wallets and gift cards.
⚠️ Watch out: Both ICICI offers exclude the Amazon Pay ICICI credit card (card numbers starting 431581) and both MakeMyTrip ICICI co-branded cards (RuPay 653075, Mastercard 543124). If you hold the MakeMyTrip ICICI card, you earn its own rewards instead. See the MakeMyTrip ICICI card's lounge rules and ICICI's full card lineup.
Which ICICI code should you use? If you can book on a Monday, use FLYMON. It's a smaller percentage, but you pay no EMI interest. Use ICICIEMI only if you actually want EMI. Even then, work out the interest and processing fee first with Monzy's no-cost EMI true cost calculator.
HSBC MakeMyTrip offers: Thursdays and Fridays till October 31
HSBC India's MakeMyTrip terms run from July 1 to October 31, 2026. That leaves four full-payment days this month: October 22, 23, 29 and 30.
Full payment: Thursdays and Fridays
Category | Code | Offer | Min. booking |
|---|---|---|---|
Domestic flights | MMTHSBC | Flat 12%, up to ₹1,800 | ₹5,000 |
Domestic hotels | MMTHSBC | Flat 15% on select hotels (5% on others), up to ₹5,000 | ₹2,000 |
International flights | HSBCINT | Flat 10%, up to ₹5,000 | ₹15,000 |
International hotels | HSBCINT | 15% on select hotels (10% on others), up to ₹20,000 | None |
Holidays | MMTHSBC | Up to 35%, up to ₹40,000 | ₹35,000 |
Eligible cards: HSBC Privé, Taj, Premier, Live+, RuPay Platinum, RuPay Cashback and Visa Platinum. The HSBC TravelOne isn't on the list for this full-payment offer, so check the code before you rely on it.
EMI: every day
Category | Code | Offer | Min. booking |
|---|---|---|---|
Domestic flights | MMTHSBCEMI | Interest-free 3/6-month EMI + flat 12%, up to ₹1,800 | ₹5,000 |
Domestic hotels | MMTHSBCEMI | Interest-free 3/6-month EMI + up to 15%, up to ₹5,000 | ₹2,000 |
International flights | MMTHSBCINTEMI | Interest-free 3/6-month EMI + flat 10%, up to ₹5,000 | ₹15,000 |
International hotels | MMTHSBCINTEMI | Interest-free 3/6-month EMI + up to 15% (10% on others), up to ₹20,000 | ₹2,000 |
Holidays | MMTHSBCEMI | Up to 35%, up to ₹40,000, + interest-free 3/6-month EMI | ₹35,000 |
"Interest-free" here means HSBC charges interest and MakeMyTrip refunds it as cashback within about 21 days. You still pay the processing fee and GST on the interest. HSBC's own example: a ₹30,000 booking on 3-month EMI has ₹753 interest refunded, but you still pay ₹135.54 GST. More on how HSBC credit cards work.
Not valid on: HSBC corporate and commercial cards, net banking, the HSBC app, wallets, PayPal, gift cards, part payments, Multi-City flight bookings, myBiz bookings, or cards more than 30 days overdue on the minimum due.
⚠️ Watch out: HSBC's PDF says "once per card per category during the Offer Period" in one place and "1 booking per card per category per month" in another. Assume you get one discounted booking per category. Anything more is a bonus.
Visa Infinite on MakeMyTrip: hotels only
Selected Visa Infinite card users can use the VISAINFINITE code to get 15% off 5-star hotels on MakeMyTrip. While GrabOn reports a minimum booking amount of ₹15,000, we found the code to be working fine even on some of the below ₹10,000 bookings (but not all). The cap we saw was ₹5,000 for our bookings.
We couldn't find any official terms page either on MakeMyTrip or Visa India's site. If you hold a Visa Infinite card (check the back of the card or ask your bank), try the code on a 5-star booking and check that the discount appears before you pay.
Selected Visa Signature card users can get an automatic discount (up to ₹350) on seat bookings when paying via an eligible card.
Other bank codes (coupon-site reports only)
These codes appear on coupon sites but not in any bank or MakeMyTrip terms that we could verify. Treat them as leads, not facts:
- Federal Bank, FEDERALEMI: 10% off domestic flights on EMI, up to ₹1,500, minimum ₹5,000.
- IDFC FIRST Bank, MMTIDFCNCEMI: 12% off domestic flights on no-cost EMI, up to ₹1,800, minimum ₹5,000.
- HDFC Bank EasyEMI: up to 15% off domestic hotels, minimum ₹5,000.
- IndusInd debit cards: up to 12–15% off flights and hotels (debit, not credit).
For other festive card deals, see today's credit card offers, plus the Flipkart Big Billion Days bank offers and Amazon Great Indian Festival bank offers.
Codes on coupon sites go stale fast. See live credit card offers on Monzy.
The convenience fee catch: does the discount survive?
Every bank's terms state that the discount is calculated on the booking amount excluding the convenience fee and add-ons (meals, seats, insurance). ICICI's flight terms go further and also exclude taxes. So 10% off isn't exactly 10% of the entire amount you'll have to pay.
MakeMyTrip charges its flight convenience fee per passenger, and it shows on the review page before you pay. MakeMyTrip doesn't publish one fixed rate. Here's an example with an assumed ₹300 per passenger per sector:
Solo one-way | Family of 4, return trip | |
|---|---|---|
Fare shown | ₹6,000 | ₹40,000 |
Taxes (assumed ~15%) | ₹900 | ₹6,000 |
FLYMON 10% on fare before taxes | ₹510 | ₹1,800 (hits the cap) |
Convenience fee (assumed ₹300 × passengers × sectors) | ₹300 | ₹2,400 |
Net effect of booking on MakeMyTrip with the code | ₹210 saved | ₹600 more than the fare |
The family's ₹1,800 discount doesn't even cover the fee. Before you apply a code, compare the final payable amount with the airline's own website (which usually charges no OTA convenience fee) or another app.
⚠️ Watch out: If you cancel, the discount is clawed back. Both ICICI's and HSBC's terms say the offer is void on full or partial cancellation, and HSBC says MakeMyTrip deducts the discount from your refund. Cancellation charges apply as well.
How to use a MakeMyTrip credit card offer without losing money
- Match the code to your card and the day: FLYMON on Mondays and MMTHSBC on Thursdays or Fridays. EMI codes work any day.
- Check that your card isn't excluded: Amazon Pay ICICI, MakeMyTrip ICICI, and corporate or commercial cards all are.
- Enter the code in the E-Coupon field before you choose a payment method, then pay with the eligible card. Don't use wallets, net banking or part payments.
- Compare the final amount with the airline's site after the convenience fee.
- Skip the EMI code unless you need EMI. The interest, processing fee and GST can cost more than the extra 2%. Compare credit card EMI vs a personal loan if you're financing a big trip.
- Keep the booking. Cancelling or rescheduling voids the discount.
- If the discount doesn't apply, raise a claim on MakeMyTrip's support page within 3 months of booking. Both banks' terms set that deadline.
The discount is only part of the value. Your card's own rewards and lounge access also count, and so do points on travel spends, which are often capped (see how HDFC capped SmartBuy rewards). If you travel often, compare the best travel credit cards in India.
FAQs about MakeMyTrip credit card offers
Which bank has the best MakeMyTrip credit card offers right now?
For a domestic flight paid in full, HSBC's MMTHSBC (12%, up to ₹1,800, Thursdays and Fridays till October 31, 2026) beats ICICI's FLYMON (10%, up to ₹1,800, Mondays till December 31). On EMI, ICICIEMI has the highest flight cap at ₹2,000. The best one is whichever card you already hold that isn't excluded.
What is the FLYMON code on MakeMyTrip?
FLYMON is ICICI Bank's Monday code. It gives up to 10% off domestic flights, up to ₹1,800, on bookings of ₹5,000 or more paid in full with an ICICI credit card. It runs every Monday from October 1 to December 31, 2026, for one booking per card per calendar month.
Does the ICICI MakeMyTrip offer work without EMI?
Yes, but only on Mondays, with FLYMON (and the other Weekly Offer codes such as ICICILUXURY for hotels). On other days, the ICICIEMI and ICICIINTEMI codes need an interest-bearing ICICI credit card EMI.
Can I use MakeMyTrip credit card offers with the Amazon Pay ICICI card?
No. ICICI's terms exclude the Amazon Pay ICICI card (431581) and both MakeMyTrip ICICI co-branded cards from the October–December 2026 MakeMyTrip offers. Corporate and business cards are excluded too.
Is the discount calculated on the full ticket price?
No. It's calculated on the booking amount excluding the convenience fee and add-ons like meals and insurance. ICICI's flight terms also exclude taxes, and HSBC calculates hotel discounts on the pre-tax price. Your real saving is smaller than the headline percentage.
Do MakeMyTrip credit card offers apply on credit card EMI?
Many do, and some apply only on EMI: ICICIEMI, FLYMONEMI and MMTHSBCEMI. ICICI's EMI is interest-bearing. HSBC refunds the EMI interest as cashback but still charges the processing fee and GST.
What happens to the bank discount if I cancel my MakeMyTrip booking?
The offer becomes void. On full or partial cancellation you lose the discount, and MakeMyTrip deducts it from your refund along with cancellation charges.
Where can I find today's credit card offers for MakeMyTrip and other sites?
Bank codes change often during sales. Monzy's credit card offers tool lists live offers across merchants, and our latest credit card offers page covers the big festive deals.
Conclusion
This Diwali, the MakeMyTrip credit card offers worth using are HSBC's MMTHSBC on the last four Thursdays and Fridays of October, and ICICI's FLYMON on Mondays until December 31. Use the EMI codes only if you actually need EMI. Check that your card isn't excluded, and always compare the final amount after the convenience fee with the airline's own site. For a family booking, that fee can be bigger than the discount.
Before you book, check the live credit card offers on Monzy. New codes appear and expire almost every week during the festive season.
