Lounge access has become one of the most restricted benefits on Indian credit cards, with most banks now asking you to spend a set amount each quarter first. The HSBC Premier credit card lounge access is one of the few with unlimited domestic and international lounge access.
Here's how it works, the charges you'll see at the lounge, the guest rules, and who can get the card (as of October 2026).

How HSBC Premier credit card lounge access works
HSBC says the Premier credit card comes with the Mastercard lounge access programme within India and complimentary membership of LoungeKey for lounges abroad.

Programme | Mastercard India lounge programme | LoungeKey |
Visits for primary cardholder | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Guests | Not complimentary | 8 free guest visits a year |

The list of participating lounges in India changes from time to time, HSBC says, so check the lounge list on HSBC's website or LoungeKey before you fly.
⚠️ Watch out: The 8 complimentary guest visits are for the primary cardholder and apply at participating overseas lounges. Add-on cardholders can't bring in extra guests, per HSBC.
Does the HSBC Premier card have a spend requirement for lounges?
HSBC doesn't have any quarterly spend condition for lounge access as of October 2026, unlike many Indian cards. The real requirement is the Premier relationship with HSBC. For how lounge rules have tightened at other banks, see credit card lounge access in India.
